Edson Packaging
Before Edson Packaging, a designer and manufacturer of customized automated packaging machinery, purchased Questica 2000, they were having problems with the speed of information being delivered from engineering to the rest of the organization.
After researching several Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solutions, Edson purchased Questica 2000 as it was the only software designed to address customized solutions.
Implementing Questica 2000 allowed Edson improved visibility of the status of orders placed by all employees working on a project. The visibility of all materials in storage and or order has decreased the duplication of purchasing materials leading to an increase in savings. Gary Evans, V.P. of Edson, indicates that this increased visibility has accelerated the cycle time for building small pieces of a machine.
Edson has been able to decrease manufacturing costs and improve the speed and visibility of information from engineering to the rest of the organization. The purchase of Questica 2000 has allowed these required benefits to be realized.
